Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had an aptitude for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first trial she took her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics, in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest world champion in the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three in all her events.
