Abigail Leigh Spencer was born in the month of August, 1981. The actress Abigail Spencer was an American actress. She was born on August 4 the 4th of August, 1981. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify the Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director with a television show. Her most well-known work was in her work in the drama series Rectify and in the science-fiction show Timeless. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera set in Gulf Breeze Florida. She was awarded a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Outstanding Female Newcomer. In the following years she was mostly a guest on parts on various television series. She was recognized for her portrayal of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the television show Hawthorne. Her stunning looks and a dazzling acting ability her character slowly garnered the attention of a huge audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played a part at the age of 20. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are the other movies where she was featured. The part she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Most recently, Spencer played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer received a Teen Choice Award nomination and was also highly praised for her performance in this show by the reviewers.
